Surprise Rugby Visitor

We had a very special guest in assembly. Harlequins player, Danny Care, surprised everyone (staff included) when he entered the auditorium after the children had seen some of his impressive highlights on the big projector. The 84 England capped International gave his thoughts and overview of the Rugby World Cup including his prediction for the finalists. Danny answered some great questions from the pupils, including ‘what sports did you play when you were younger?’ Danny mentioned that he enjoyed football and athletics as a child, but encouraged the children to play and try as many sports as possible whilst they have the opportunity.

It was a real treat to have Danny at our school and we are really grateful for him taking the time from his busy rugby and physio schedule.
