Sports Update: 30 January 2020

Our U8s Netball teams were in action last Friday against City of London Freeman’s. The Year 3 girls have already proven how strong they are with their hockey, and the netball performances against CLFS were their best yet. Superb passing and clinical shooting resulted in two great wins for the teams. It’s great to see the hard work from the players, Mrs Attree, Miss Freeman and Miss Moore paying off.

Rugby matches took place across Years 4 to 8 over the last week against schools including King’s House, Hall Gove, Downsend, Danes Hill, and KCJS. There was a fantastic Saturday morning of sport with no fewer than eleven U10 rugby matches taking place on the Henderson Fields. On Thursday our U11s played against Rokeby in the start of The Murray Cup, a competition held annually between the two schools. Cranmore have got off to a great start with three wins out of four, leaving another 12 matches to go across all Senior School age groups.

There are now over 10 sports camps with our associated partner, Activate Camps, being held at Cranmore throughout the rest of the academic year. For more information and to book, please go to: https://www.activatecamps.co.uk/venues/cranmore-school/
