Sports Update

The fantastic hockey season has continued over the last week with matches taking place across all year groups. The pick of the bunch was the whole year group U9 matches against Danes Hill and the four U10 sides versus Parkside. The outstanding hockey on display produced fantastic results across both year groups (see SOCS for scores).

The Surrey Junior rugby festivals took place last Thursday (U8/U9) and Friday (U10/U11) at KCS Wimbledon. The U8 and the U10 sides had very successful afternoons only losing one game each out of six. The U13 rugby sevens side competed at the Feltonfleet festival. The team improved throughout the day and gained valuable experience leading into the Nationals in a couple of weeks time.

The squash squad represented the school on Friday evening whilst hosting CLFS. With two age group draws and the U11s winning, Cranmore took the overall victory in a fantastic series of matches.

On Monday our netball club had a great joint training session with The Raleigh School. There was plenty of skill development on show with lots of smiles on faces.

Finally, we wish our skiing squad all the best as they head to Pila (taly), for British Inter-Schools Ski Championships. Good luck!
