Our 1st VII Rugby team featured at the St John’s Beaumont Sevens Festival. On a beautifully sunny afternoon on the Beaumont Flats, the squad had their first outing of the season. A combination of quick handling and amazing running saw Cranmore top the group. The second stage proved a lot more competitive as we came up against tougher opponents. It was great to see the group develop throughout the afternoon and learn quickly about the different version of the sport. Well done to all for persistence and determination.

Members of our cross-country team competed at Highfield in their annual event. Every Cranmore competitor ran very well with the whole squad consistently cheering and encouraging each other. L. Wilkinson and A. Wood managed to pick up medals in their respective age categories, both up against over 100 other runners in their races.
During the recent half term holiday over 250 supporters from Cranmore attended the Harlequins versus London Irish Premiership match at Twickenham Stoop. Despite ‘Storm Dennis’ making an appearance, the children performed a superb ‘Guard of Honour’ both pre-game and at half time. Thank you to everyone that supported the event.
The hockey season has started superbly well with our Year 6 playing a whole Year Group fixture against Parkside. Despite this being Cranmore’s first set of matches, the four teams went unbeaten across the afternoon. Well done all!
