Our U13 rugby team won their match against Downsend in an end to end, thrilling encounter. The performance wasn’t perfect, but it’s a sign of a good team when you aren’t at your best, but still manage to achieve the result. The U9 A team went undefeated at the Aldro festival, and the U10s played well and improved throughout the day at the Shrewsbury House Festival. Also on Thursday, the rest of the U9 teams (B to E) won every much against Rokeby School, which was part of the Murray Cup. It was the turn of the U10s (B to E) matches for the Murray Cup on Friday, and again every team won.

Saturday was the grand finale of the Murray Cup with the final four matches taking place at Rokeby School’s playing fields. Three wins on the day secured the overall win, and with that Cranmore were awarded the Murray Cup for the second year in succession. Over 110 pupils played their part in retaining the trophy, a Cranmore experience of which they should be proud.

Noah Seeback and Brandon Jose represented the school in the Individual Swimming Surrey Championships. Both swam superbly well and finished 5th and 2nd in their respective disciplines. Tommy McNamara and Alex Wood also competed on Saturday, with the event being the District Cross Country in Reigate. Both ran well and enjoyed the experience.
