Jan 31, 2020

One of the key measures of success as a teacher is having inspired your pupils to pursue their dreams and achieve great standards.

Therefore, we are delighted to welcome VoCollective to Cranmore for a workshop with our students ahead of their joint concert in the evening (13th February) which we are sure will inspire our young musicians.

The workshop will be a chance for pupils to learn about different singing genres as well as access to helpful tips on how to get the most out of their own performances and ensemble groups.

VoCollective are as the name suggests, a vocal collective that combine a cappella with beatboxing to create soulful sounds and beautiful beats that are sure to entertain the audience.

Formed in 2017, the group has already achieved a high level of success having been selected to compete at ICAO, a world-renowned a cappella competition at Carnegie Hall in New York, of which the collegiate version was made famous by the popular film Pitch Perfect.

With a repertoire that is ever-expanding, the group comprises of six talented members and do all of their own arrangements.”
